So, to repeat: To Sharilyn: it was definitely a WTF moment: you run into Howard in the middle of NYC and a few hours later we're sitting having a nice talk with him! I hope his buddies didn't tease him too much: hopefully they could see we weren't the typical groupie types and not ones to run off with near-strangers in any situation, no matter who they are. To Donna: hello and thanks for commenting! Howard seemed to be doing well; he said he still does a lot of standup all over the country and he seemed happy. It was really nice of him to take the time to talk to us, especially when he was probably bummed that the show was cancelled. He said normally they get a really good crowd there; I think maybe they started advertising a little too late that week. I couldn't believe how much he looks the same as during JSS! He must have a bottle of magic anti-aging pills somewhere. :-) GodDAMMIT I forgot to answer my own math question and my comment disappeared!
