I mean, it's sweeter than plain red wine but it's not all that sweet overall. Plus I only had a couple of glasses the night before and that was hours earlier. I had had several coffees with pounds of sugar in them since drinking the wine, as is my usual habit, so any lack of sugar and resulting withdrawal was remedied by the coffees. :-) I feel fine today though. I think I was dehydrated a little, which made my insides feel worse than they were doing all on their own. It’s not really that sweet. Does the fruit and ice (I'm assuming this is poured over ice) mellow it out a bit? That pain your feeling may be your body comming off a major sugar high. Sounds tasty, but a little sweet.
