I've tried taking it off because a lot of time people forget to do it and then they lose their comment forever, but then I get a ton of bizarre spam. So I have to keep it turned on. When I get around to changing my Wordpress setup I can use Askimet, which will block spam and not have a challenge/response requirement. It’s my favorite blog too! What a coincidence.
